The Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences of IEU offers five Master's and one Phd degree programs:

  • Ms. in Applied Statistics (with Thesis)

  • Ms. in Financial Mathematics (without Thesis)

  • Ms. in Management Science and Engineering (without Thesis)

  • Ms. in Information Technologies (without Thesis)

  • Ms. in Computer Games and Technologies (with Thesis)

The Master of Financial Mathematics is designed for the professional, practice-oriented individual who seeks graduate-level breadth in the field. No final oral examination or thesis research is required for this degree. The MSc Financial Mathematics gives you access to highly qualified and experienced academic staff of international standing in finance and financial mathematics. They have excellent research expertise, consultancy and business experience in financial services, banking and applied mathematics. You will learn about advanced finance concepts, knowledge and skills which are both rigorous and have direct application to the professional environment - for a degree that is valued by employers in financial markets worldwide.

The Master of Applied Statistics program involves some depth of study in a specified area of concentration and requires a research thesis. In this program, a student may specialize in a specific area of application such as manufacturing statistics, reliability and quality control, simulation, or more traditional areas of statistical research. Students in this program study the mathematics needed for advanced work in probability and statistics as well as necessary advanced work in an application area. Graduates typically go on to careers on university facilities in statistics, engineering, or management, as well as in industry or government positions as researchers or consultants. It is an interdisciplinary program with the participation of Economics, Mathematics, and Engineering departments. Graduates who complete this degree might work in research staff positions in consulting firms, industrial organizations, or government.

Master of Information Technologies (IT) program is nonthesis. The program is designed to enable participants to have broad technical understanding of current and emerging technologies in the IT field. The program covers many fields such as operating systems, data analysis, network applications, database design and management, and software engineering. The M.S. in Information Technology program prepares students for leadership roles in the IT industry

Nowadays, science and technology is rapidly developing with an ever-increasing impetus and a substantial part of knowledge is comprised of quantitative data. The analysis and interpretation of this data require the use of mathematical and statistical methods. The Applied Mathematics and Statistics doctorate program practiced by the Department of Mathematics enables the students to conduct advanced rersearch for application in the fields of Engineering, Medicine, Physics, Biology, Computer Sciences under the supervision of advisors
